🐝💛 WOOLSTON WASPS HOLIDAY CLUB 💛🐝

☔️🌧️ RAIN? WHAT RAIN?! 🌧️☔️

The weather definitely wasn’t going to stop us from having an AMAZING day! 🙌🏼 We filled our day with singing, dancing, party games, lots of giggles and CRAFTS, CRAFTS & MORE CRAFTS! 🎨✂️🎶💃🏼

And then came the BEST bit… 👀🍟🍔🥤 MCDONALD’S! 😋🙌🏼 Because every busy day of fun deserves a little treat! ❤️

Safe to say, the rain may have been pouring outside… but inside the Wasps were BUZZING! 🐝🐝🐝💛

We didn’t let the rain spoil our fun today! The children had so much fun on the bouncy castle, followed by a yummy Macdonalds lunch.

🐝 Woolston Wasps Holiday Club 🐝

What a busy and brilliant day we’ve had! 🎶🥁

Our morning was spent getting creative and making our very own musical instruments using anything and everything we could find! 🎨🔨 The children loved getting stuck in and seeing what sounds they could make.

Then, this afternoon, we had a very special Samba lesson! 🪘🎵 We learnt all about rhythm and beats and had so much fun practising together.

It was loud, it was noisy, it was energetic… and it was exactly how they like it! 😂🙌

What a fantastic day of creativity, music and lots (and LOTS!) of noise! 🐝❤️🎶

🐝 Woolston Wasps Holiday Club 🐝

Practiced mindfulness 🧘‍♀️ 🧘‍♂️

We slowed down and reflected today. The children made worry stones from clay and painted them. We discussed how they could ease our stress, anxiety and provide a tactile grounding distraction.

We also learnt about the relaxing art method Zentangle with our resident artist Judy. ☺️
