Can you bring your baby to our Baby & Child First Aid classes?
Yes, absolutely!
Pre-crawling babies are very welcome to come along. If you need to feed, change or comfort your baby during the session, that is completely fine.
Once little ones are crawling or on the move, classes can become less suitable. We want you to feel relaxed, able to take in the information and join in with the practical activities without worrying about where your baby has wandered.
If you are unsure about the venue and whether it will work for your pram or pushchair, simply contact your local instructor. You will find their details at the bottom of the location webpage when you search using your postcode on the classes page of our website.
Our two-hour baby & child classes run all across the UK and cost from just ยฃ30/pp - see what's available in your area on our website. Here : https://www.minifirstaid.co.uk/

๐ถ It's Baby Communication Week 2026! This week's theme is 'Seeing the Baby' and dads, that means you too! ๐
Your baby already knows your voice, your touch, your smell. From the very first days, they're looking to YOU โ watching your face, responding to your sounds, reaching out to connect.
You don't need any special skills. Just slow down, get close, and pay attention. That silly face you pull? That gentle chat during a nappy change? That moment of eye contact at 3am? It all matters more than you know.
This , let's celebrate the incredible role dads play in helping their baby find their voice. ๐

Most people would say they have heard of sepsis, but when asked whether they know the signs and symptoms, the answer is different.
At Mini First Aid, we educate about sepsis in all of our first aid classes. It's something we take very seriously because sepsis claims the lives of 50,000 people in the UK every single year.
Last week, our founder Kate was at the Houses of Parliament for a reception with our charity partners The UK Sepsis Trust. Hosted by the brilliant sepsis survivor โBionic Peerโ Lord Craig Mackinlay, together with Harry Redknapp, Melissa Mead MBE and actor Jason Watkins. An incredible gathering of people, all focused on saving lives. The stories were so moving.
Thank you to Dr Ron Daniels BEM and Sarah Hamilton-Fairley for filling a room with health care professionals, passionate educators, those with lived experience of sepsis, and government representatives who truly care about the future of sepsis research, education and treatment.
This event really drove home how important our work in raising sepsis awareness in the community through our first aid classes really is, and we continue to support The UK Sepsis Trust wherever we can.
