Year 6 had a fantastic time this week taking part in a thought-provoking workshop led by local magistrates.
They learned how the justice system works, explored the importance of laws (and how they link to school rules), and even took part in a mock social media trial! A brilliant opportunity to think carefully about decisions, evidence, and staying responsible online 👏

A severe allergic reaction can develop quickly, so knowing what to do in an emergency is essential.
This week’s guide gives parents, carers and educators a clear overview of adrenaline devices, including EpiPen, Jext and nasal adrenaline.
The guide covers:
• Symptoms affecting the airway, breathing and circulation
• How different adrenaline devices are used
• Why the patient should lie down and remain still
• The importance of calling 999
• Why two devices should always be carried
It also reinforces a vital message: using adrenaline promptly is always better than waiting.

🐝 National Bee Day at Bradshaw 🌼
On Wednesday, we celebrated National Bee Day here at Bradshaw—an especially meaningful day for us, as the bee is such an important emblem of our school community.
Throughout the day, pupils enjoyed learning more about these incredible creatures and reflected on our recent Earth Day discussions, recognising just how vital bees are to our environment.
The children explored ways we can all help by creating bee-friendly habitats and supporting pollinators. We hope you’ll join us by planting the seeds we’ve sent home and creating your own little bee-friendly corner—every small step makes a big difference! 🌱🐝
