A quiet Monday night in the dojo....The ideal time to practise our sword kata (amongst other things).

After nearly 6 long months away, the dojo reopens tonight! Looking forward to blowing the cobwebs off....

We are now temporarily based at Penketh Youth Club (until the Pool & Community Centre reopens). Training time has also temporarily moved to Friday nights only, 7 - 8.45pm.

Unfortunately our home dojo (Penketh Pool & Community Centre) are in the process of arranging some roof repairs, so are not yet ready to re-open. This could remain the case until early October. In the interim, I will be looking to identify a temporary home, to allow training to resume. I will post an update once I have a venue. Outdoor training remains available for existing students.

The dojo remains closed for now, but we haven't gone away! Covid safe, outdoor training is now available to existing students. I will post further updates as the government guidance changes.

Happy New Year from the WSKJ. Training starts again on Monday 7th January. Hope to see you there!

There will be no training on Monday 22nd October. Open as usual on Wednesday 24th.

Congratulations to Matt, one of our WSKJ students - Grading to 3rd Kyu (Brown Belt) this week. A tough challenge made all the more difficult in these hot & humid conditions.Well done!
