This week at Jack and Jill 💜

The butterfly room children have been working hard on their fine motor and counting skills as well as number recognition and patterns.✏️✂️🔢

The caterpillar room children have been working hard on their turn taking skills this week. They have enjoyed lots of small world play, crafting and mark making. 🎨🖌️🫟

We have also had our weekly extra curricular sessions - Callum from DC Mini’s and Gilly from Robot Reg ⚽️🤖

What a lovely first week back after half term! Lots of fun activities and smiley faces 💜

Lots of lovely fine motor and letter recognition activities this week. As well as messy play, painting, water play and den building! 💜

After a fun visit from the farm on Monday we continued the theme throughout the week.

The children enjoyed doing a ‘talking teddy’ activity telling their friends which of the animals was their favourite and what they remembered from the farm visit. They have also created some lovely farm animal paintings and paper plate chickens.

We had a lovely visit from Fishers Mobile Farm yesterday. The children loved being hands on with all of the animals 🐮🐐🐷🐓🐰

Sunny smiles all round this week at Jack and Jill! We have had a lovely week in the sun lots of outdoor play, den building and outdoor water play! ☀️💧

We have continued our topic of ‘spring’ this week, the children have planted some cress seeds that we will be keeping a close eye on and have painted some lovely flowers and butterfly pictures. 💐🦋

We raised a total of £260!! The money we raised will be used to help us to improve our outdoor area. Huge thank you to you all again ☺️💜

Dear Parents,

❗️Just a reminder that our sponsored Spring walk will be taking place TODAY❗️

The walk will take approximately 30 minutes and will be 2.30pm-3.00pm, so if you need to collect your child early please come prior to the walk starting otherwise we will be back at preschool for approximately 3pm.

We will be following an exciting Spring trail through Sankey Valley Park and back to Pre School.

If it isn’t your child’s usual session please feel free to come along, it will be a fun interactive walk! Please arrive at preschool for 2.15pm.

Please bring your child’s sponsor form and sponsor money with you and hand it in to a member of staff, all amounts no matter how small are appreciated.

All funds raised will go towards replenishing resources and equipment at Jack and Jill.
