I’m absolutely delighted to share this fantastic feature from Warrington Worldwide about Shooting Stars Dance Academy and the support we’ve received from Ingevity.

As a dance school, our biggest priority has always been our students — helping them grow in confidence, develop their skills, make friends, challenge themselves and, most importantly, LOVE what they do. ❤️

So to receive £1,600 of funding from Ingevity is incredibly special to us. It has allowed us to invest in specialised equipment that will help create an even safer, better learning environment for our students and teachers. 🩰✨

And what makes this even more exciting is that this isn’t just about equipment… it’s about giving our young people more opportunities to learn, develop and believe in themselves. 🌟

💃🌟 Special mention to our Isla 🌟💃

After 15 wonderful years, it’s time to say goodbye (for now!) to our beautiful Isla as she begins an exciting new chapter at university.

Watching you grow from a tiny 3-year-old taking your very first dance steps into the confident, talented and kind young woman you are today has been one of the greatest privileges of my career.

Your commitment has always been second to none. Whether it was ballet, tap, commercial, rehearsals, extra classes or performances, you gave everything your all. Your dedication and hard work have shaped you into the incredible dancer you are today. From our small school shows to performing at amazing venues, dancing at Pineapple Dance Studios in London, and competing on stage, you’ve embraced every opportunity with determination, grace and a smile.

But what I’ll treasure most isn’t just your dancing—it’s the person you’ve become.

To your wonderful family… thank you. Your support, kindness and loyalty over the past 15 years have meant more than words can ever express. You haven’t just supported Shooting Stars Dance Academy; you’ve supported me personally through so many moments, and for that I will always be grateful. You have truly become part of our dance family, and saying goodbye is far harder than I ever imagined.

Isla, I couldn’t be prouder of everything you’ve achieved and everything that lies ahead. University is so lucky to have you, and I know you’ll continue to shine wherever life takes you. Never stop believing in yourself, keep dancing whenever you can, and remember that you’ll always have a home at Shooting Stars.

This isn’t goodbye… it’s simply “see you later.”

✨ BLACKPOOL FINALS 2026 PHOTOS 🌟

As we receive the professional photographs from last week’s finals in Blackpool, we’re reminded of just how special this journey is.

For our Pre-Elites, it was another opportunity to showcase their hard work, dedication, and passion. For our Mini Elites, it was their very first competition experience—something they’ll never forget, and neither will we. Watching them step onto that floor with courage, excitement, and huge smiles made us incredibly proud.

At SSDA, we believe success is never about one person. It’s about a team.

We teach our dancers that being part of a team means lifting each other up, celebrating every achievement, and understanding that every role matters. The same is true behind the scenes. From the teachers preparing classes each week, to those supporting at competitions, organising, encouraging, and helping in countless ways—every contribution helps create these opportunities for our dancers.

These photos represent so much more than a competition. They capture the hours of training, the friendships, the support, the memories, and the SSDA spirit that makes our dance family so special.

To our dancers: thank you for making us proud every single day. To our families and supporters: thank you for being part of the journey. And to everyone who plays a role in making SSDA what it is—thank you.

🏆💃 What an incredible weekend at the Blackpool Finals! ✨🏆💃

We couldn’t be prouder of our amazing dancers who represented our school with such passion, dedication, and heart.

A huge congratulations to both teams for Sunday’s performance. Our Pre Elites, who continue to amaze us with their hard work, growth, and determination. Their commitment to improving every single time they step onto the competition floor truly shines through. We are thrilled to celebrate their fantastic achievements:

🥉 3rd Place – Lyrical
🥈 2nd Place – Street Dance

These results are a reflection of the countless hours of training, teamwork, and perseverance they put in week after week. Watching them grow into such strong and confident performers is an absolute privilege.

We would also like to give a very special mention to our Mini Elites, who competed together for the very first time. Having only been formed five months ago, they stepped onto a national finals stage with courage, confidence, and determination, achieving an incredible 5th Place. What an achievement for such a young team, and we know this is only the beginning of their journey.

🌟 SHOW 2026 🌟

What an amazing and wonderful project we did. 4 months of preparation behind the scenes to all the choreography and to the amazing families supporting us make a show an incredible experience for their children.

Thank you everyone for all your kind words generosity, it truly means the world to us. We absolutely love what we do and to see each student at SSDA shine on stage they way they did was just amazing.

19 years of producing such wonderful shows and each year just gets better and better, thank you to our team of teachers for all your hard work and not to forget our fantastic students who went on stage and danced their socks off.

Here’s to a wonderful 2026 together with many more opportunities.

🍿💃 🥳 SSDA’s SLUMBER PARTY 🥳 🍿💃

3 weeks ago we celebrated 1 year anniversary of having a new home ‘ SSDA dance studio’ ! After 18 years hiring so many halls it was time to move and collaborate all our classes and bring more life, energy, fun and excitement to our students.

What a wonderful time we had celebrating together, dancing, playing games, watching a movie and of course eating lots of popcorn and sweets. One of students had her birthday to which was a special moment too!

A big thank you to all our students for their continued efforts, our amazing parents who support us each day and our incredible teachers. Thsvk you all so much and here’s to a future together we can build together 🌟🙏😇🥰
