A huge congratulations to Samuel (Year 9), who has signed professional academy forms with Flint Town FC Academy after impressing the coaching staff during a trial this summer! 🌟

Samuel is now looking forward to continuing his development with the academy and taking the next step in his football journey. 💪⚽

🎂🎉🥳Great Sankey High School is 50 years old! And to celebrate last Friday there was a staff reunion for alumni and current staff. There was lots of laughs and smiles as staff reminisced about their wonderful memories of the school. How many faces do you recognise? A huge congratulations to William, currently in Year 8, who has been offered the opportunity to sign professional terms with Airbus UK Broughton Academy! 🔥

William recently completed a six-week trial with the Welsh Premier League club and impressed so much that, after just two games, the club asked him to sign. 👏⚽

⚠️ Traffic Update – Back to School Tomorrow

Families are advised to allow extra time for their journey tomorrow morning due to temporary traffic lights and increased congestion around Omega Boulevard and the Trigger Pond area.

🚗 Please do not use Barrow Hall Lane and neighbouring residential streets for drop-off and help us keep our students safe by using the recommended drop-off points in our school travel guidance.

Please take extra care around pedestrians and cyclists during the busy morning period and be respectful to our neighbours and local environment.

⏰Students should be on site, fully equipped and ready for form by 8.20am

Huge well done to Max, Liam & Charlie who recently cycled to three local professional rugby league stadiums in an effort to raise all important funds towards the 2027 Australian trip!

The students cycled from the Halliwell Jones Stadium (Warrington Wolves) to the Brewdog Stadium (St Helen’s) and the DCBL Stadium (Widnes Vikings) as part of the students ‘Sankey2Sydney’ summer challenge!

You can help support this once in a lifetime trip by donating to our GoFundMe link (https://gofund.me/fcba854e2) which will help enhance the experience of this trip for our students by helping to provide kit, equipment, meals & drinks, transport and more.
