One of the highlights of our year is the Year 6 Leavers' Assembly.

Thank you so much to all the parents, family members, former pupils and friends who came to watch our Year 6 children say goodbye today. The children were brilliant.

As part of the assembly, we shared a few videos celebrating the year. Even if you are not parents of Year 6 children, we would definitely recommend that you watch the 'Teachers' video where our Year 6 children have a bit of a laugh thinking about what happens in school when the children have gone home each night.

A huge goodbye and good luck to a gorgeous Year 6 class who leave us today. The children were brilliant in their Leavers' Assembly and had a wonderful morning getting their shirts signed. We know that they are ready for their next adventures and hope that they will come back to see us!

A huge congratulations to our amazing Year 6 children and choir for their absolutely brilliant performances of Oliver! this week!

Our talented children were fantastic, delivering stunning solo performances, alongside incredible singing, dancing and acting. They should all be so proud of themselves! A huge well done also to our fantastic tech team, who expertly managed the music throughout the performances.

Thank you to our parents for providing great costumes, and to Mrs Walton and Prop Club for creating the stunning backdrop and props that brought the production to life.

Thank you to Mrs Stephens for leading our fantastic choir and to our Year 6 staff team for supporting the children to create such a memorable show. A special thanks to Miss Wood, who led the production.

We are incredibly proud of everyone involved. What a wonderful way to celebrate the talents, hard work and teamwork of our Year 6 pupils.

Move over Mrs Bennett…There’s a new headteacher in town! Miss D was our headteacher for the day and was supported by her two deputy headteachers Miss B and Mr P! The leadership team watched the year 6 dress rehearsal to check it was up to the expected standard, carried out lesson observations in all year groups to check that all children were working hard and even managed to fit in a bit of shredding! Miss D also kept the staff sweet by supplying them with biscuits at breaktime!!! Well done Team! 🙌🌟

Year 6 had an absolutely fantastic time at their Leavers' Fest last night!

The evening was a huge success, with pizzas, glitter, tattoos, hair braiding, drinks, bouncy castles, a movie and treats galore. Despite the warm weather, we managed to keep cool before settling down for one giant sleepover in the hall. It really was a brilliant night and the children loved it.

A huge thank you to Mrs Whitfield and her amazing team for organising such a fantastic event, and to all the staff who stayed up for most of the night to make it so special.

Most of all, thank you to our incredible Year 6 children. You are a wonderful group, and it has been an absolute pleasure spending this time with you. Make sure you get some sleep before the football tonight!

🏛️✨ 3B had an amazing day at Liverpool World Museum today!

The children took part in a fascinating Ancient Egypt workshop, where they had the opportunity to handle real artefacts 🏺 and learn all about life in Ancient Egypt. They also enjoyed completing a museum trail 🔍, exploring the galleries and discovering lots of interesting exhibits.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful parent volunteers who gave up their time to help today.

We had a fantastic day full of learning, exploration and fun! 🌟😊 More photos of our class on Seesaw.

What a fantastic day Year 3N had on our class trip to Liverpool Museum! 🌟 The children were absolute superstars from start to finish and were wonderful role models for our school. Their behaviour, enthusiasm and curiosity were exceptional, and they represented our school with pride wherever we went. As their teacher, today was one of those moments that made me incredibly proud. It was such a pleasure to spend the day with this amazing group of children, watching them learn, explore and enjoy bringing our History learning to life. The visit was the perfect way to round off our Egyptians unit, giving the children the opportunity to see artefacts and deepen their understanding of everything we have been learning in class. A huge thank you to our wonderful parent helpers for giving up their time to support us today. We couldn't have done it without you, and your help was very much appreciated. Well done, everyone – a brilliant end to a fantastic History topic
