Happy Marshmallow Monday! 🔥 We tried giant marshmallows this week. 😋👣🌳

We’ve had a great week, enjoying our Marshmallow Monday 🔥 and celebrating World Oceans 🌊 Day. 🐙 🐠 🐋🐬We completed lots of themed activities including making our own grey seal 🦭 masks and paper rolls crabs! 🦀 Have a great weekend everyone, see you soon. 😊👣🌳

In addition to all of our usual forest fun, this week we’ve been thinking about keeping our teeth healthy. 🦷 😁We talked about what we should do to look after our teeth and smiles and completed themed activities. Have a lovely weekend everyone. 😊👣🌳

There has been a buzz at forest school this week for World Bee Day! 🐝🐝🐝 We did lots of themed activities including making some bee related crafts, thinking about our favourite bees, and playing bee related games. Of course, we also had lots of our usual forest fun. Have a lovely half term everyone, see you soon. 😊👣🌳

We’ve had another yummy Marshmallow Monday evening! We toasted marshmallows, made s’mores and had pancakes with syrup or chocolate spread 😋🔥 Why not pop along after-school on Mondays to join the fun?!

We’ve had a chilled out time this week for mental health awareness week. We tried forest bathing, wildlife yoga and a spot of peer massage. We also thought about different feelings, the qualities of good friendships and used our special compliment glasses to say some nice things about each other. Well done everyone! 😊👣🌳

We have been thinking about all the wildflowers this week that are flowering in the spring time sun. 🌺🌸🌷🌹🌼We identified some wildflowers and did some lovely flower related arts and crafts. We also enjoyed trying savoury s’mores again over our fire 🔥😋 and lots of our usual forest fun. Have a lovely long weekend everyone, see you soon. 😊👣🌳

We’ve had a lovely week in the springtime sun, enjoying lots of activities in celebration of St George’s Day. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 We made our own fire breathing dragons,🐉 and decorated St George’s shields with natural materials, along with making other themed artworks. We also enjoyed toasting some traditional English muffins over our fire for snack and practised using our special dragon’s sneeze flint and steel!🔥😃👣🌳

🍄Would your little one like to join us to roast marshmallows? 😋 We now offer a regular marshmallow day on a Monday 💕. The children form a strong bond sitting around the fire with their friends and the skills that they learn are very special. We work as a team to light, maintain, and extinguish our fire safely.
