Year 6 have explored the artist Pablo Picasso, we have learnt about tertiary colours and had a go making them through mixing paints🎨🖌️🧑‍🎨

Year 6 had chemistry with cabbage today! Learning all about acids and alkalis🧪They were excellent scientists and thoroughly enjoyed their day exploring predictions and experiments with practical demonstrations. 😁

A big thank you to all the staff, parents, and children for all my lovely retirement gifts! It has been a week full of surprises—I even had my own song sung by the staff!
Thank you for the many cards, in which parents and carers took the time to write such thoughtful messages. They really do mean a lot, and I will treasure them forever.
As this chapter ends and a new one begins, St. Bridget's will always hold a very special place in my heart. Enjoy the summer and carry on making wonderful memories with your loved ones!

End of the chapter for Little Learners and EYFS 2025-2026!

After an incredible 22 years of teaching at St Bridget’s, today we say a heartfelt farewell to the wonderful Mrs Strogen as she begins her well-deserved retirement.

Over the years, Mrs Strogen has touched the lives of so many children with her kindness, patience and unwavering dedication. She has inspired generations of pupils, helping them to learn to love and love to learn and her care and commitment have left a lasting mark on our whole school community.

She will be deeply missed by the staff, parents and most of all the children, whose lives she has helped shape.

As you begin this exciting new chapter, we thank you for everything you have given to St Bridget’s. We wish you every happiness for the future.

May your life in this world be a happy one. 💚❤️
