Canberra have been exploring the issue of deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest this week. After researching the viewpoints of key stakeholders (including loggers, inhabitants, conservationists, scientists, and cattle farmers) they participated in a thoughtful and engaging debate. It was fantastic to see students confidently presenting evidence-based arguments and considering a range of perspectives. 🌿👏

New Delhi (and Mrs Gregory!) loved their Pom Pom reward on Tuesday. We had so much fun playing in the sun. ☀️

All the children were incredibly helpful afterwards too; they picked up every single piece of the used water balloons. There are more photos on New Delhi’s class dojo app ❤️

👫🍪 Today Reception learned all about sharing using the book 'The Doorbell Rang'. Each time the doorbell rang more children joined and we had to share the cookies again! The children especially enjoyed eating the cookies at the end 😋🍪👫

Fantastic fractions from Year 2! Berlin and Rome children have worked hard in maths to show their learning of different fractions. 💚

In music, Stockholm have had lots of fun exploring different pitches and discovering how sounds can be high or low. They’ve especially loved learning a new song and are really proud of playing it on the glockenspiel. ❤️🎹🎵🎶

During a discussion in Berlin class about how Warrington helped in WW2, one of the children mentioned his great-grandad fought and received a medal. After a hunt at home, his kind family were able to find his medal, his identity card and even a poem he wrote about his experiences. What an amazing piece of local history!
