🌍🌎 Earth Day 🌎🌍 Today is Earth Day so Alexandra and Ceri took some of the children for a little walk. On our walk we found lots of different plants including, bluebells, forget-me-nots, dandelions, tulips and daisies. We spotted lots of wildlife on our walk. We watched 2 buzzards circling above us and spotted ladybirds, butterflies and pigeons. We went to the park and scattered some bird seed to help look after the birds and we waited to see if any would come. On our way back we collected grass, leaves, and flowers and at preschool we made our own little Earths using the blue and green flowers. We looked at a picture of a globe and a world map and introduced the name of the 3D shape ‘sphere’ for the shape of the Earth. What a lovely busy day we have had ☺️

Odd socks day for World Down Syndrome Day.
We have talked about how we are wearing different socks because we all different in different ways but how we treat each other respectfully no matter of our differences ❤️🧦

What a lovely afternoon celebrating with our lovely mums. Thank you all for coming. It was lovely to have you as always. 🌷🌹

🧦 World Down Syndrome Day – 21st March 🧦

On Friday 21st March we will be celebrating World Down Syndrome Day at preschool.
To help us celebrate and raise awareness, we are inviting all children to come in wearing odd socks! 🧦🧦

Odd socks are a fun way to celebrate that everyone is unique and different, and to help start conversations about kindness, inclusion, and celebrating what makes us all special.
