Our Warrington Guardian Education Awards are back for another year and promise to be the best yet!
Thirteen awards will celebrate schools, nurseries and colleges across the town, honouring pupils and students, teachers and teaching assistants, and classes and teams.
We want to highlight everything that’s good about Warrington’s educators, shining a spotlight on innovation and best practice across the town.
Who should win one of our 13 awards?
There’s pupil of the year for primary and secondary, class or team of the year and headteacher of the year as well as awards for teachers and teaching assistants.
We will also be handing out an outstanding achievement award, an unsung hero honour and an innovation award.
Last year, Colleen Everett at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, won Headteacher of the Year!
Entries are invited from teachers, parents, governors, pupils and anyone with knowledge of a particular school or education establishment.

i would like to thank all of you for the support you have given to my son Kyree-Byron, You were all there for him when he needed it the most and I missed most of all the hard work due to work and not being able to see it first hand. The countless hours you all put in during and after hours won’t go unnoticed. He has the support he needs today because of your dedication and kindness.
Myself, Kyree and Lindsey are grateful and forever in your debt. Every single one of you are diamonds and the next class you inherit will be privileged.

Lastly we, kyree lindsey and myself are truly gutted at this end of an era at Gorse Covert and wish we could have many more years with you all, i am going to make it my duty to bring him to see you all in the new school year.
