Such a great send off for John today. So many faces, blasts from the past too. We did him proud. Hearing stories of Johns many adventures and funny moments was an absolute pleasure! Thank you everyone. To use John's words he'd be "chuffed with that, it was a good craic!" Such a character leaving great memories!

Tributes being paid to judo club founder John Lawrinson TRIBUTES are being paid to a man who ‘taught wonderful judo’ to many hundreds of Warrington people

John's funeral will be held at Walton crem. 14:00 on Monday 9th February and then at the Howley, Warrington afterwards. If you wish to attend The Howley, please say so below, so we have an idea on numbers please.

It is with great sadness that we have to share the news that our founder, THE legend that is Johnny Lawrinson sadly passed away today. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family. He will be fondly remembered for the character that he was and he will always bring a smile to our faces whenever we think of him! Funeral arrangements will be announced here shortly.
