Turner's Painting School has been set up by Marc A Turner to bring the opportunity of individuals from basic to advanced improve their ability to create paintings and gain a good understanding of how, why and how to use paints in the best way to aid the artist and painter to reach their desired standard. Many different courses and workshops are available throughout the year to suit all needs.

A memory resurfaced today from the time I was invited to lead an workshop at Turner's House. It also brought back the moment I was fortunate enough to give a live demonstration from the parlour during the end of lockdown of when the world was still half paused and everything had moved online. Two very different chapters, yet both filled with creativity, connection, and the quiet magic of painting in a place touched by Turner’s legacy.

Here is a cherished memory from our at a study in painting material and atmosphere. This draped curtain project was a milestone in our learning practice, teaching patience, observation, and the subtle dance of light across fabric.
