2026 marks the third and final year of the triennial theme for World Su***de Prevention Day (2024–2026), Changing the Narrative on Su***de, with the call to action: Start the Conversation. This theme calls on us all to challenge harmful myths, reduce stigma, and foster open, compassionate conversations about su***de.

Have your say on the Big Conversation on Care!

Adult social care supports thousands of people across Warrington, helping older people, disabled people and those with long-term health conditions to live independently, safely and with dignity.

Whether through personal experience, caring for a loved one or working in the care sector, many residents will have insights that can help inform future improvements.

Led by the Independent Commission on Adult Social Care, chaired by Baroness Louise Casey, the Big Conversation on Care is gathering views from people who draw on care and support, unpaid carers, care professionals and the wider public.

The feedback collected will help inform recommendations to Government on how adult social care can be reformed to better meet the needs of current and future generations.

Today we support the fight against human trafficking and modern slavery.

This year’s theme, “Trapped Behind the Scam”, shines a light on people who are recruited through fake job opportunities and trafficked into online scam operations, where they are forced to commit fraud under coercion and control.

Human trafficking can take many forms, including:

▪ Labour exploitation
▪ Sexual exploitation
▪ Forced criminality and online scams
