A few weeks ago we spent the day visiting the Kingsway campus. Our ED Level 3’s and HNC graphic design students met with staff, had a campus tour and took part in a creative workshop. Great day out and an opportunity to experience what it’s like to a student studying at Kingsway.

“I wouldn’t choose any other college to study graphic design as I made some amazing memories and felt close to the people in my class. At university, I am using the skills I learned every day and my college qualification has made me stand out from the crowd!”
Not only did Mia Wright leave college with an outstanding qualification, but she is now finding that her experience and training so far are giving her an advantage in her BA Hons Illustration course at the University of Central Lancaster. Although Mia has decided to pursue illustration, the broad range of modules on the Level 3 Graphic Design course have acted as the perfect springboard into her degree, where she is refining her skills in printmaking, animation, and life drawing.
We love to hear about our former students thriving in their careers after college and a big thank you to Mia for sharing her experience so far.

Wonderful to hear from our amazing alumni. Keep up the hard work lewis. Huge career ahead of you! 🙌
For those considering a future in graphic design, take a look at former student Lewis Knight for inspiration! 🤩
Initially choosing to study with us for the conveniently situated campuses, Lewis soon learned there was much more to love about the college and his course, giving him the skills and experience to get ahead of the curve in his degree. Lewis is now studying towards his BA Hons in Graphic Design and is further expanding on the skills and knowledge from his level 3 qualification. Thinking back on how far he has come, Lewis said:
“I feel that my time at college was a good experience and I took the first steps towards becoming a professional in my field. Now, studying for my degree, I can see that I am well on my way to my dream career. I would like to thank my tutors Jayne Fox and Ellie Strowger, because, without their help and guidance in graphic design I don’t believe I would be where I am today.”
Well done to Lewis on successfully completing his first few months at university! If graphic design is the route for you, then take a look at the graphics, games design & media courses on offer at the college’s soon-to-launch Advanced Creative and Digital Skills Centre! 👇
