Today is World Kindness day. As an act of kindness we made some lovely hearts for our Grandfriends at Meadowview. They were thrilled when a small group of EYFS children popped in to visit and deliver our creations. ❤️❤️

Nursery and Reception have been busy painting artwork for a display, jumping like astronauts in PE, and having lots of fun with their friends. As always, log on to Google Classroom for more information xx

Lots of colour fun again in Nursery and Reception. We have baked, made monsters and had lots of fun in provision.

What a busy week we have had! We have looked at the book 'Neon Leon' about a bright orange Chameleon. This led the learning down a very colourful path! We have had painted with fluorescent paint, built shapes with glow sticks in the light area, finding patterns for Leon at Forest school and showed our magic by changing water into different colours. We have been learning all about colour this week in Nursery and Reception. The children have taken the learning in so many different directions, we have mixed colours, made kaleidoscopes, made sun catches and and much more. We also had our first Forest school sessions.

Another busy week in Nursery and Reception. We have been talking all about family and have made pebble families and class family bracelets. The children had their first PE session in the hall, moving like animals.

On Friday we sent home lots of information with how to log on to Google classroom etc. For Reception children it was all put in their new reading packets.
It is important that everyone logs on as there are extra photos and information.

What an amazing first day we have had! It was lovely to welcome our new starters and our returning Nursery children. The children in both Nursery and Reception have made us all feel very proud, they have been incredible. We can’t wait to have lots of fun together this year.
