🌈 Colour Run raises £5,000! ✨

Our Colour Run this week was a tremendous success and great fun for everyone involved!

Together, we raised an incredible £5,200. Thank you to all the families and friends who supported this fundraiser.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our PFA and staff for their hard work in organising the event.

A special well done to our children, who threw themselves into the event with enthusiasm and helped turn the school into a spectacular rainbow of colour for the afternoon.

What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the year!

🌟Well done and Good Luck to our Year 6 HPL Team! 🌟

Our fantastic Park Road HPL Team of 2025–2026 has had a very busy final half-term, preparing for and delivering their final assembly.

Not only have they been a committed team, but their enthusiasm has never faded.

Throughout the year, they have consistently dedicated their lunchtimes as Play Leaders, identifying and celebrating children who have demonstrated our High Performance Learning values.

This week, the children were invited to our final breakfast as a special thank you for all their hard work.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with this team and we will miss them all.

We wish each and every one of them the very best as they begin their journey through high school. We are sure they will continue to achieve great things!

💪 Gladiator Champion visits for PE Day ⚽

Pupils got the chance to meet Gladiator Champion Amanda Wah as part of this year's PE experience Day.

Amanda, who won the final of the BBC's Gladiators, joined the children as they explored a number of different activities throughout the day including their very own Gladiator training!

Other activities throughout the day included Street dancing, Circus skills, Karate, Kin Bal and football.

What a great day!

🔎 Discovering Ancient Egypt in Liverpool 🔎

Year 3 took a trip back in time when they visited Liverpool's World Museum to find out more about the Egyptians.

The children had a great time exploring the museum and finding out more about the ancient civilization.

🌟Thank you to our work experience students 🌟

We welcomed both new and familiar faces to our school when high school students visited to complete their work experience placements recently.

A special thank you to our former students for returning and continuing their journey with us - it is always wonderful to see how much you have grown and developed.

We were equally excited to welcome those joining us for the first time, and we hope your experience here was both enjoyable and rewarding.

Thank you all for choosing to spend your placement with us. The children in our school loved getting to know you!

🌟Year 5 meet their buddies 🌟

Year 5 pupils got a chance to meet the children starting in September who will become their "buddies" next school year.

In preparation for their first time together, the class has been writing letters to the younger children and made them their very own teddies to use on a Teddy Bear Picnic.

It was lovely to finally meet everyone!

🏉 Tag Rugby with Warrington Wolves 🏉

Year 3 and Year 4 have been enjoying Tag Rugby sessions delivered by Warrington Wolves.

During the sessions the children have been practising their skills, including teamwork and resilience and have learnt lots of new facts about Rugby.

🌸 Our Annual Flower Show 2026 🌸

Last Friday, we held our annual Flower Show and what a wonderful celebration it was!

Children from across the school came together to create imaginative displays in honour of Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday, celebrating his incredible life and contribution to protecting our natural world.

The creativity on display was amazing, featuring a tea party for our Year 1 class tortoise - Albie, as well as underwater habitats, a "Save the Bees" project, and even a vibrant Amazon rainforest experience!

Families enjoyed exploring the different garden areas, admiring the children's work and learning more about how we can all play a part in protecting our precious planet.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this special event such a success!
