Here's Ralph, completing his work in 14 minutes! Ralph's concentration has improved enormously in the last few months and he now has lots more time to play after completing his work each day. No wonder he looks so happy!

Meet Rohan! Although he's still in primary school, Rohan is working well ahead for his age. He showed great independent learning skills in class, studying simplifying algebraic expressions for the first time without any help! Great work Rohan!

Here's Piper, who was really excited to start new levels in both maths and English this week! Lovely to see her enthusiasm. Well done Piper!

Isobel showed great focus, determination and resilience when learning column multiplication for the first time this week. She wasn't at all fazed by making mistakes and really learned from them - just what we aim for at Kumon! Well done Izzy!

We've recently said goodbye to four of our assistants who have left for university. Christie, Cloé, Jada and Eva all started as Kumon students when they were in primary school and later became class assistants. We're very proud that they have all gained places at Russell Group universities, but we'll really miss them!

Today in class, Harris completed his work so quickly, he asked for more! He's really cracked those number bonds! Well done Harris!

At our first class back at Grappenhall Community Centre since lockdown started, Arthur aced his Level D maths test! Kumon Level D covers long multiplication, long division and converting fractions. Arthur completed the whole level over the summer, meaning he's now well ahead for his age. Great work Arthur!

Since the start of lockdown, we have been running virtual classes. Here's assistant Alex working with higher lever maths students in a Zoom breakout room. Though we're now about to return to face to face classes, we're still keeping Zoom as an option, keeping everything flexible in this changing world!

Meet Hannah and Trisha! Both these girls from the Warrington South Kumon study centre mastered multiple operations with fractions and decimals whilst only 7 years old! They are now studying negative numbers and will shortly be moving on to algebra - work not usually studied until high school! well done girls, we're really proud of you!

We always ensure we have First Aid trained staff at class. Today, assistants Susan, Eva and Rachel joined me at a full day's training course.

We had a great time on Saturday, celebrating our students' successes at our Autumn Award Ceremony!

Special congratulations to our two Student of the Year award winners, Keira and Jack!

Keira received her award for her fantastic attitude, commitment and progress over four and a half years at Kumon. Her mum tells me she never needs to be told to do her work and her fantastic progress has been recognised at school.

Jack's award was for his amazing achievements - our youngest Level K completer, working 6 years ahead of the standard expected for his age! Jack is pictured with sister Rachel and brother David, both also gold award winners.
