⭐️ Rowan class ⭐️

The children had great fun today exploring the foam outside. They enjoyed touching, squeezing and scooping the soft, bubbly foam, showing curiosity as they discovered its different textures. Some children used their hands and tools to mix and move the foam around, whilst others enjoyed watching the foam disappear. 🫧💜

We were joined by Roz and Jo from Warrington Young Carers this morning. They delivered a session on what a Young Carer is and what support is available for any of our youngsters who may be in the situation.

We would like to introduce some of the new members of Birch class! Mrs Patterson, Miss Flint and Miss Ashwood have had a wonderful time getting to know their new class over the last few days. Parents - more photos to follow on Tapestry.

Hobley music school are putting on a special concert for the children this afternoon.

We had worked together with Hobley for the past three years to deliver 1-2-1 tuition in piano, drums and guitar.

We are excited to see everyone this morning. We are looking forward to welcoming all of our new children to Nursery and Reception aswell as catching up with our friends across the school.

I've finally had chance to sit down and reflect on everything that myself, Mr Wordsworth and Mr Dave achieved earlier this week.

Reading through all of the posts, comments and messages has genuinely made me quite emotional. The support, encouragement and well-wishes from everyone meant more than you'll ever know.

Every time we pulled up at the next mountain, with tired legs, aching bodies and every excuse to stop running through our minds, we'd read your messages. They gave us the lift we needed to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

It really reminded me why I love being part of Birchwood. We are incredibly lucky to have such amazing children, but we're just as lucky to have such a fantastic community of parents, families and friends who always come together to support one another.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared our posts, sent messages of encouragement or simply cheered us on from afar. You've helped us raise money for something that will make a real difference to our children.
