SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUB

Our summer holiday club will be run from our Callands setting from Monday 27th July until Friday 21st August and is open to children aged 2-11. To enquire or book a place for your child(ren) email Iris at [email protected]

SCHOOL LEAVERS PICTURES

The photographer will be coming to both our pre-schools on Wednesday 24th June to take our annual leavers pictures. If your child is leaving us to go to primary school and does not normally attend a Wednesday day afternoon session, it would be lovely if you could bring them so they can have their graduation photograph & be included in the group picture! He will be in Old Hall at 1pm and in Callands at 2pm

Mary, Mary quite contrary, how does your garden grow? 🪴🌷🌹🌻

We have been continuing to work on our garden areas at Callands and Old Hall. 😍

We are very excited to watch our gardens grow and learn all about how to grow our own fruits and vegetables and even make our own compost!

We have spent time planting carrots, potatoes and beans, we can't wait to watch them grow and to taste our own home grown vegetables! 🥕🫛🥔

Good Luck to one of our wonderful mums who is running the London Marathon on Sunday! 🏃🏻‍♀️

Megan Rachael Taylor has been training hard & been busy raising money for Alder Hey Children’s hospital a cause very close to their hearts ❤️🥰

On Wednesday it was Earth Day! 🌍

At both Callands and Old Hall we have been learning a lot about how we can look after our environment. We have learn't about recycling and how things grow. ♻️

At both of our settings we have started to create our own gardens, we have been clearing up our garden areas to get them ready and we have begun planting. 🪏 The children have learnt all about what our seeds need to help them grow and how we can take care of them. 🌞🌧️

We are starting to grow our own vegetables 🥕🥔and flowers 🌷to attract butterflies and insects to our new bug houses. 🐞🦋🐝

We are all very excited to watch how our gardens grow! 🌷🌳

We also made our own Earth day pictures and learnt about what our world looks like and all the different places around the world! 🌍✈️🏝️🏖️

On Tuesday the children at Callands had a short trip to the park! 🛝
The children we all amazing and walked beautifully to the park and then had a fabulous time playing on the swings, see saw and roundabout.
We used lots of our physical skills and co-ordination on all of the large equipment and learnt all about how to keep ourselves safe on our walk.
It was lovely to be out and having fun in the sunshine ☀️
