It has been great to be back this week starting my favourite summer themes!
We learnt about ice cream 🍦🍦 they listened really well to the story and enjoyed learning which flavour ice cream Peppa Pig loves the most!
They even ordered an ice cream in French and ate the cone 😋

Lots of fun this week practicing body parts and colours. They were great balancing the bean bag on different parts of their body and they enjoyed seeing the Gruffalo this week! Bravo 👏

Lots of fun back at our toddler and preschool classes last week! We started learning body parts with Monsieur Patate and sang 'Heads, shoulders, knees and toes' in French.
They loved cutting and sticking to make their own Monsieur Patate. Bravo 👏

I'm back from our fabulous family holiday and I thought I would introduce myself before the new term starts 😊
I'm Beth and I teach fun French classes in nurseries, schools and the community in South Warrington. I used to take my daughter (now 12! 😮) to Petits Pois and now I teach children fun French to children aged 2-8. The classes are filled with props stories, games, songs, movement and fun! Each week has a new theme and the children do a craft and get a sticker.
Community toddler and preschool classes are Mondays and Wednesdays at 10am at the Pavilion in Alexandra Park, Stockton Heath.

Lots of fun at our Wednesday Easter class. They loved jumping about pretending to be 'les lapins' 🐇 they did a great job finding different coloured eggs and they practiced farm animals in the story.

What a great Easter class we had on Monday! They pretended to be 'un lapin' 🐇 and we sang some songs about bunnies!
We practiced farm animals in the story and sang about 'les oeufs de Pâques' Easter eggs!

Great fun this week learning farm animals and practicing zoo animals. We sang 'Old Mcdonald' in French and practiced colours by reading a story about a brown bear. Bravo 👏👏

Bravo to my after school classes! We have been learning food this term and they did a great job putting sentences together about what they eat and drink for breakfast using 'Je mange' I eat and 'je bois' I drink. 🧃🥣

Lots of fun this week going to the zoo! We read the 'Dear Zoo' book in French and sang some songs about zoo animals.
The children did a great job finding animals hidden around the room and they all made 'un lion' 🦁 👏

Lots of fun this week learning all about Elmer for World Book Day. They practiced colours with our Elmer song and listened beautifully to the Elmer story. They used paint pens to create their own rainbow elephant 🐘🌈
