Could not believe these photos when they came in

Some huge differences from one of my girls and I couldnโ€™t be prouder ๐Ÿฅน

This girls journey has not been linear right from the get go - which makes these photos even more special

A lot has happened personally to her and to be honest would make most forget themselves and hold off their health

๐˜ฝ๐™ช๐™ฉ ๐™ฃ๐™ค๐™ฉ ๐™ฉ๐™๐™ž๐™จ ๐™œ๐™–๐™ก ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

Throughout the hard times, sheโ€™s been consistent with what she ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—น๐—ฑ do - instead of being frustrated with what she ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—น๐—ฑ๐—ปโ€™๐˜ do

Sheโ€™s kept communicating with me, and we adapted to ensure she was still working on herself ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ

She has ditched the โ€œ๐™–๐™ก๐™ก ๐™ค๐™ง ๐™ฃ๐™ค๐™ฉ๐™๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œโ€ mentality - and instead focuses on โ€œ๐™จ๐™ค๐™ข๐™š๐™ฉ๐™๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œโ€ ๐ŸŽฏ

This is one of the most common things I hear when speaking to people on the gym floor

๐Ÿž Iโ€™m going to give up bread

๐Ÿ˜ท I need to give up carbs

๐Ÿด Iโ€™m reducing my carbs to lose weight

But will giving carbs up help you lose fat?

๐—ก๐—ข โœ–๏ธ

๐˜ฝ๐™ช๐™ฉ ๐™—๐™š๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™ž๐™ฃ ๐™– ๐™˜๐™–๐™ก๐™ค๐™ง๐™ž๐™š ๐™™๐™š๐™›๐™ž๐™˜๐™ž๐™ฉ ๐™ฌ๐™ž๐™ก๐™ก โœ”๏ธ

Carbs are great for energy, and if you enjoy them - whatโ€™s the use in giving them up for a week like you always do then going back to them? ๐Ÿ™ƒ

You could give up carbs, eat in a calorie surplus and still GAIN weight - because itโ€™s allll about calories

Why donโ€™t you try this instead if youโ€™re looking for fat loss:

๐Ÿ”ข Find out what your calorie deficit is (Message over โ€œแด„แด€สŸแดส€ษชแด‡๊œฑโ€ and I will help you with this)

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Plan your meals so youโ€™re getting a good mixture of veg/fruit, protein and include your favourite carbs

๐Ÿ˜ˆ Stop demonising food and labelling them โ€œgoodโ€ or โ€œbadโ€

Trust me when I say the above ๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿฝ will make you get results longer term (๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ฒ๐˜ถ๐˜ช๐˜ค๐˜ฌ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ) than binning the bread because you will become ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ and not be ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ณ ๐Ÿค

Also if you want energy to run after your kids, if you want to incorporate exercise and if you want to not hate your life - carbs are needed ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

๐Ÿซต๐Ÿฝ It does require effort

๐Ÿฅ— You donโ€™t have to live and breathe salad/the gym

๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ Not every day will go how you want it to

โฐ It takes ๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ to work on habits - but ๐˜ฑ๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ to actually build and incorporate them as part of your lifestyle

Every day you have a s**t day at work, do you quit?

You deal with it, and go back in the next day

๐Ÿ‘€ Did she extreme detox?

๐Ÿ‘€ Did she take Susanโ€™s fat burning tablets?

๐Ÿ‘€ Did she do 45 sit ups on the hour every hour?

Obviously not.

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ Found a form of exercise she enjoyed, and started going for longer walks

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Became more educated around nutrition, meaning she made healthier choices but did not restrict

โฐ Knew that results take time, so was patient and got her head down

All of the above meant she was consistent, as she enjoyed the exercise and wasnโ€™t on a diet

There are so many benefits such as getting you back into exercise, the group environment, the atmosphere etc

But lifting tiny plates or doing star jumps is NOT going to get you that increase in muscle mass that you need to get that โ€œtonedโ€ look you want ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ

Also, doing hours upon hours of classes per evening wonโ€™t get you it either

Itโ€™s about training ๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜๐˜†. Not ๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜๐—ถ๐˜๐˜†.
