Eco club today was all about spring and flowers 💐

What colours can we find? what can we smell? and can we draw them 💐

The children really enjoyed taking part in the big bird watch and spent the week learning all things birds 🐦

🐦Made fat balls and put them in the park for the birds

🐦Made our own binoculars and went bird spotting in the park. We saw the usual crows, magpies and pigeons, all birds that the children recognise and can name

A local house was having some work done and the children could hear the banging and said it sounded like a woodpecker. Very disappointed when it was just a man up a ladder 😆

I have a space available for August/September start this year. Full and part time hours available

What a month December had been 🎅🎄🎅 feel like we've crammed so much into a month

🎁Trip to sing Christmas songs at a local community event
🎁 A lovely Christmas meal and night out with childminder friends

We've finished the year with another party today before a well earnt 12 days off

Nature group this week was so much fun. We decorated a tree with the homemade bird feeder decorations we made then an elf hunt in the woods finding the hidden elf pictures and they even left us some golden chocolate coins. Followed by hot chocolate to warm us up on a cold winters day

On Thursday we took part in our annual santa dash around the park. It was a fantastic turnout with lots of children and childminders taking part. Even a special visit from the big man himself 🎅🎅 all money raised is being split between 3 local charities

We had such a busy and fun October.

⭐ Trip on the bus and a special visit to the hindu temple in Warrington where we learnt all about Diwali. We did traditional dancing, played the instruments and learnt about why Diwali is such a special celebration

⭐ Lots of Halloween crafts with paint and playdough. The children especially e joyed the Halloween tuff tray which we adapted each day

⭐Visit to a pumpkin patch where there were also lots of farm animals to see aswel as fantastic Halloween decorations. Then finished the day with lunch at the pub for a treat

⭐Nature tots we made nature crowns and wands and painted rocks to look like pumpkins which we left around the park for the locals to find 🎃🎃

Fantastic morning at the local firestation learning about people who help us.

The children got to use the hose, try on the hats and could have a seat in the fire engine 🚒🚒

Weve had a lovely morning at the cinema today. A nice treat day before 3 of the children move on to preschool and school in September 😢 I'm really going to miss them but excited to hear all about their next adventures

The perfect day for a pool party this morning in the garden 🏖️ lots of splashing and so much fun
Finished with a picnic and an ice cream

Today we attended a session with a lady from the oral health team.
The children discussed healthy foods and how to keep our teeth healthy and strong.

Each child has special chart to take home and they are excited to use them
