We will be at the North West Train to Teach Event this Saturday.

We are now open for anyone looking to train with us from September 2026. We will be working with Kingsbridge SCITT and offering PGCE and PGCE Apprenticeship routes. Please take a look at how to apply on our website and complete an enquiry form. We have listed some subjects but we do offer a wider range of subjects for teacher training.

King’s Leadership Academy Warrington Our mission is to develop in each of our students the academic skills, intellectual habits, qualities of character and leadership traits necessary to succeed at all levels and become successful citizens in tomorrow’s world.

We offer an apprenticeship route into teaching. This is a full-time paid role while you train. One of our apprentices has outlined why she took this route into teaching.

I chose the apprenticeship route as an opportunity to gain practical work experience that will build on my academic training.
It allows me to observe how experienced, qualified teachers put their subject knowledge into practice, implement different teaching techniques and strategies and adapt their lesson plans to meet students’ needs, which I believe is the most important part of for teaching training.
In addition, being in a school environment full-time was a great way to understand schools’ policies, and behaviour management and be part of a team.

Get Into Teaching: North West Get expert advice, talk to teachers and connect with people like you considering teaching in the North West England at an in-person Get Into Teaching event.

We will be at Bolton University this Friday for their careers event. Do come and chat to us if you are there.

Not sure if you want to teach? We offer paid internships in June and July to find out about teaching as a career. For undergraduates in any year of their degree and a limited amount of places for those studying masters. For those studying for degrees in Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Computing and Spanish.
