We offer an apprenticeship route into teaching. This is a full-time paid role while you train. One of our apprentices has outlined why she took this route into teaching.

I chose the apprenticeship route as an opportunity to gain practical work experience that will build on my academic training.
It allows me to observe how experienced, qualified teachers put their subject knowledge into practice, implement different teaching techniques and strategies and adapt their lesson plans to meet students’ needs, which I believe is the most important part of for teaching training.
In addition, being in a school environment full-time was a great way to understand schools’ policies, and behaviour management and be part of a team.

Why train with us? Our current English trainee Laura Crellin has offered this to share with potential candidates for our programme.
'I have been fully supported throughout my training, I have been in
constant contact with my mentors and have felt that there was nothing I could ask for support with that they were not willing to provide. I’ve really appreciated the incredible support I’ve received and it has made my training run very smoothly.'
