What a fantastic Sports Day we had yesterday!🥇🏃‍➡️🏃‍♀️‍➡️

A huge thank you to all the families and friends who came along to support our children. Your encouragement helped make the day special, and it was wonderful to see everyone cheering the children on as they gave their best effort and showed great sportsmanship.

We would also like to thank everyone who supported our PTA Summer Fair. It was certainly a hot one, but that didn't stop everyone from having a great time! Thanks to your generosity and support, we have raised valuable funds that will benefit our school and pupils. 🌞🌞🌞

Thank you to our staff, volunteers, PTA members, and everyone who helped make both events such a success. We are incredibly grateful for your continued support.🥰

Cygnets have enjoyed some time this morning keeping cool under our awning with cold water play, exploring water with our hands and feet. Paddling has been a firm favourite, with lots of splishing and splashing.💦

The seaside has come to Cygnets! 🌞⛱️🍦We have been enjoying building sandcastles, exploring our small world beach and pretending to swim in the sea and eating ice creams in the outdoor role play area.😍

🎨💙 Father's Day Card Making! 💙🎨

Join us at toddler group this week as we get creative and make special Father's Day cards for all the amazing dads, grandads, stepdads, and father figures in our little ones' lives.

There will be plenty of crafts, fun, and smiles as the children create a heartfelt keepsake to take home. 🖍️✨

This little cuddly penguin was accidentally left on the pavement just outside school at drop off this morning. It’s been well looked after in school if anyone is missing it. ❤️
We hope we can get it back to its family.🤞

Reception had a great time at Manchester Airport! We learnt about roles that people play at the airport, looked at the history of Concorde and even went on the flight deck to be pilots! 🧑‍✈️👩‍✈️✈️🛫🛬

☀️🎨 Summer Fun at Toddler Group! 🎨☀️

Join us this week for a lovely morning of play, learning, and creativity! Our little ones will be enjoying colouring beautiful summertime pictures, exploring bright colours, and creating their own sunny masterpieces. 🌻🦋🍦

Alongside our colouring activity, there'll be plenty of toys, songs, and opportunities for children to play and make new friends while parents and carers enjoy a chat and a cuppa. ☕💛

We'd love to see you there! Bring your toddlers along for a fun-filled session of summer-themed activities and smiles all around. 😊

Our Bluebird’s children escaped from the hottest part of today in one of our air-conditioned rooms. They also enjoyed some lolly ices while cooling down. 😊

We will continue to do the same throughout the week to help keep everyone safe and comfortable in the hot weather.

Please still remember to apply all day suncream, as we will continue to enjoy short sessions outside in the shade during the day.🌳

☀️ With the lovely hot weather expected this week, please can all children attending Bluebirds come prepared for the sunshine!
Please make sure your child brings:
💧A refillable water bottle
🧴 All day suncream applied before arrival
🧢 A sun hat/cap
👕 Cool, comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor play
🍼 Extra nappies where needed, as changes may be more regular in the warm weather

We will be encouraging lots of water breaks and short sessions of shaded play throughout the day to keep everyone safe and happy in the heat 😊
