Celebrate 30, 20 and 10 years since leaving Warminster with a special reunion evening alongside classmates and former teachers.

✨ You’re invited: The 1973 Club Lunch ✨

We are keen to make our next 1973 Club gathering bigger and better than ever. This will be a great opportunity to tour the whole school site, reminisce, and celebrate — and we would love you to join us.

📅 Saturday 25 April 2026
🕛 Arrivals from 12.00pm | Lunch from 12.45pm

The day will include guided tours of both the Prep and Senior School buildings, giving you the chance to:
*Find old classrooms
*See what has changed (and what hasn’t!)
*Explore the school archives
*Request particular places you’d love to revisit

🍽️ Lunch will be a delicious two-course hot buffet with your choice of drink (hot drinks, soft drinks, wine or fizz), followed by tea and coffee.

Most importantly, the day is about reconnecting — with old friends, shared stories, and the place that shaped so many memories.

On Saturday, welcomed back a remarkable group of Old Verlucians, fondly known as the Macdonald Boys— and what a special day it was.

These former pupils were at Warminster during the headship of Ian Macdonald (1940–1958), and the stories they shared were truly unforgettable. From being here on D-Day to hearing the news that the war had ended, their memories brought history to life in the most personal and powerful way.

Some travelled from across the UK to be here, with one OV even flying in from Japan — a real testament to the strength of the friendships forged at Warminster. The bond between them is something very special, lasting not just years, but a lifetime.

Over lunch in St Boniface Hall, the room was filled with laughter, shared memories, and deep connection. It wasn’t just a reunion — it was a celebration of friendship, legacy, and the enduring Warminster spirit.

Giving Back: A Gift That Serves Generations

Here at , we are thankful for the parents, alumni, and friends of the school who support our community. Today, we celebrate Ed, a long-standing parent whose generosity will leave a lasting legacy for our pupils.

Ed and his family have been part of the Warminster community for over 15 years and their gift will help ensure that future generations continue to enjoy, compete, and develop their talents on our tennis courts for years to come.

Reflecting on his time as a Warminster parent, Ed shared:
“It has been our privilege to be associated with this wonderful school continuously for over 15 years and to see our children and their contemporaries grow and flourish in that time.

We are only too delighted to leave something behind that will be used for other children’s personal development and roundedness for years to come. Thank you Warminster School, you will forever have a place in our memories and hearts.”

Thank you, Ed, for your generosity and for the lasting impact your support will have on our school community.
