Warminster School A community spirited co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 2-18 in Wiltshire - like us for regular updates!

Every child has the capacity to enjoy and be good at something. We believe that it’s our job to help them find what that is and nurture it. Every child here is also encouraged to aspire academically and to enjoy their learning. We are proud that, at Warminster, our pupils not only fulfil their academic potential but are challenged to develop an intellectual curiosity and to have lively minds. Those are habits to last a lifetime.

And we’re off.

After a long summer, Warminster is ready to welcome our pupils back.

The last two days have seen a brilliant start to the new academic year, with our staff coming together for two days of Inset, sharing ideas, preparing for the year ahead and getting ready to give our pupils their very best.

And at the helm is Mark Sully, Warminster’s 29th Headmaster.

Having been part of the Warminster community for almost fifteen years, Mark knows our School, our people and what makes this place special. Now, as he begins his Headship, he is looking ahead with energy, ambition and a clear philosophy:

THREE WEEKS TO GO🎉

The countdown is on! In just three weeks, we’ll be opening the doors to the new home of Warminster Prep and bringing the whole Warminster community together for our Whole School Discovery Day.

Saturday 12 September | 10am–1pm

There’ll be plenty to discover, lots of friendly faces and some special moments along the way - including the official opening (with expert ribbon cutting) of our new Prep home, with new Headmaster, Mark Sully and two VERY special Prep assistants, Max and Isabella! ✂️

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate an outstanding set of GCSE results at Warminster - our best since 2010. 🎉

With 36% of all grades awarded at 9–7, our Year 11 pupils have shown just what can be achieved through hard work, resilience, determination and a belief in what is possible.

But today isn’t just about grades. It’s about celebrating a group of young people who have grown in confidence, discovered their strengths and made the most of the opportunities around them.
