🚨 WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SAVE THE PTFA! 🚨
Did you know that without new members, our PTFA will likely be unable to continue after this year?This means treasured school memories like the Christmas & Summer Fairs, discos, and book fairs will disappear. Funding for essentials like library books and leavers' hoodies will stop. 😢
We urgently need fresh faces before our AGM on 16th September 2026.
🗓️ Drop-In Info Session: Come have a casual coffee and chat with our Chair, Andrea Pike, on Wednesday 15th July 2026 at 2:30pm in the school hall to find out how you can help.
Whether you can take on a role, join the committee, or just help for 30 minutes at events, every bit counts.

I hope everyone had a great sports day yesterday! It was hot but we think the kids and staff did amazingly!
Thank you to parents and carers who supported the PTFA and bought drinks during the event.
As you will have seen, all the children received a hat yesterday. If your child was not there they will get their hat when they return to school. All new starters will receive their hats in September.
Year 6 children will be able to keep their hats and we have suggested that they sign each others hats before the end of term to keep as a memento of their time at Corfe Castle Primary School.

Another example of PTFA funding helping the staff and children of Corfe Castle Primary School & Preschool. We have purchased two sturdy trolleys for the school to use.
Staff will use them for sports days, playtime on the fields, Woodland lessons, school trips, holiday club activities etc...
We are always thinking of ways to help the school staff, making their lives easier and helping to give the children the best Preschool and Primary experience possible.
These trolleys will definitely lighten the load!

Easter Trail 🐣

Thank you to everyone who came along! Braved the wind and completed the Easter Trail!

We had a great turnout, it is always great to see lots of smiley (and chocolatey) faces!
Thank you again for Raffle donations, cakes and cookies. Our Primary school parents are amazing!

Big thanks to Sam who organised the Trail, it was well worth bringing it back!

PTFA Cheese & Wine.... while we make raffle hampers....go on then!
So many amazing donations for this years Easter Raffle! Took a team of us PTFA parents to sort and make some hampers.
Fuelled by charcuterie, cheese, wine and fizz we somehow managed.
Thank you to all that donated and the lovely PTFA parents for taking time out to do this.

Our local Scout groups are joining us tomorrow to sell Swanage Easter Hunt sheets and some chocolate goodies!
Buy a sheet for £3 and return it to Swanage Tourist Information Centre by 13/4/26 to be in runnings to win some Chocolaty prizes!
The hunt is being supported by local businesses and shops in Swanage, all proceeds are going to the Scouts.
A great activity to keep the kids busy over the Easter break!
