A great game yesterday, we managed to "pull" a huge amount of letters which led to over 30 words between myself and the student in just 2 mins!

Great tool for modelling how knowing a spelling pattern can help with spelling unfamiliar words.
Not all learning has to be paper based!

🐟 Meet our Factor Fish🐟

Lots of fun today finding factors and then comparing two numbers to find the common ones.

Technically, a factor is a whole number that divides another number evenly with no remainder.

In child speak (at KS2), we would describe them as whole numbers that multiply together to make a larger product (total).... multiplying "friends"I guess!

This learner loves to be moving and learns best through "hands on", so this a great way to explore factors without sitting at a table!

We are LOVING the Flying French Fries 🍟 game!! Picked up on Vinted for a few £, there are so many ways to use this game to make learning fun!

This week, we have covered Prime and Composite numbers, Factors and Multiples, different Times Tables, keyword spellings and even some grammar work.

It really motivates the students and is fun to play! (Also makes me jump every time which the students find hilarious 😂)

This student has been focusing on persuasive writing techniques over the last few sessions culminating in this final piece.

Writing is not his favourite activity so to create such an engaging piece made us both proud!
