Riverside Playschool A preschool for children aged from 1y8mth (20 months) old. Managed by experienced school teachers. It should support their development, care and learning needs.

Est 2014 as Riverside Nursery School, we changed our name in June 2026. Riverside Nursery School aims to provide the highest quality care and education for all the children they look after. We believe that every child's early years experience should be happy, active, exciting, fun and secure. The preschool is managed by a qualified primary school teacher with many years experience, supported by an excellent team of early years practitioners. We are based at Great Amwell Scout's HQ, a lovely building with plenty of room for the children to play and learn. Children have access to a fantastic outside space. There is a large car park for parents to use when dropping off and collecting their children. We follow the EYFS framework set out by the government to ensure the best possible start to school life for your child. Please check our website for up to date opening times and fees information. We offer a limited number of free Government funded places for 2, 3 & 4 year olds, including 30 hours. Please message us, email us or call us for more information or to put your child's name down on our waiting list.
