We're on tour at the Beacon this Saturday 24 Oct and open 10-3 Tues-Fri, 7-9pm Tues, 10-12 Sat (unless we're on tour!). This coming Sunday 18 October, learn the basics of rag-rugging to make a sustainable Halloween wreath/table centre using tired, old home textiles. (And we love gothic but you could make it in any colour you like.)

Another "What on earth is this?" for you. 😆 Kindly donated recently but we don't know what it's meant to cut. It's got a blade and a very firm clamp to hold whatever in place. 🤔 There's a 1mm gap between clamp and blade.

Sustainable Fashion Week next week! Can't say it's fashion but it's definitely sustainable apparel - Jeans saved from the rag bin at Mercy In Action Wantage and repaired with William Morris fabric samples and embroidery thread scraps donated to The Makery. We regularly offer workshops to learn how to mend your clothes. Next one is this Saturday - Basic Hand Sewing for Repairs.

Lovely workshop this week for the Circle-Up project repairing jeans with visible mending techniques. Everyone brought their tired, old jeans back into use beautifully! 😍
