Great day mending clothes in 'Stitch Clinic' yesterday! We mended torn clothes and jumpers with moth holes.
The Mix is running these every month. All you need to do is book a slot and get your clothes fixed for a small donation.

Mending is as essential a skill as cooking — but fast fashion has taken it away from us.
It doesn’t have to feel daunting or difficult. In fact, it can be creative, mindful, and even fun.
Extending the life of our clothes simply makes sense — for our wallets, our wardrobes, and the planet.
Here, my husband is having a go at repairing his favourite jeans. He’s learning sashiko stitching and discovering just how satisfying mending can be.

A new exhibition by Textiles in Oxford is coming to the museum! Featuring handmade embroidery, textile art, and mixed media, this group show brings together work by many different makers, each with their own style and approach. A colourful, tactile exhibition full of detail and creativity.

Tues 3rd - Sat 28th March

Free admission but donations to the museum always welcome.
