Stockham Primary School

01/10/2026

Our first Open Evening is today!

We’re excited to welcome families with children looking to join Stockham Primary School in September 2027.

Join us at 5:30pm for a short talk in the hall, with a performance from our school choir. You’ll then have the opportunity to explore our classrooms, meet our staff and chat to our pastoral team, as well as finding out more about our Forest School provision.

We look forward to welcoming you to Stockham and showing you what our school has to offer!

We are aware of a problem with the price of the Halloween disco tickets on Parentpay. We won’t be able to fix this until tomorrow unfortunately so please wait to purchase them once it has been resolved. They should be £2 per ticket.
Thank you for your understanding.

We hope you are all having a lovely summer.

Just a reminder that we have a competition running over the summer holidays for children reading in unusual and interesting places. Thank you to those families who have already sent in photos of their children for this challenge. We look forward to receiving more before we return next month. Please send any photos to the office email account ([email protected]) and let us know in the email if you are happy for the image to be put in our newsletter and on our page.

Enjoy the rest of the holidays!

ParentMail has recently had an update, and some parents using the app have reported that they are not receiving notifications when a new message is sent. As a result, they have been unaware that new communications have been posted.

We are currently unsure what is causing this issue. In the meantime, we recommend checking the ParentMail app regularly to make sure you don't miss any important messages until the issue has been resolved.

We held a book sale today. If you missed it, the books will be available again tomorrow morning on the KS2 playground. There will be a selection of blank exercise books, lined and squared books, maths textbooks and more.

Donations are welcome, with all proceeds going towards supporting the school.

Thank you for your support.

A big thank you to Love Retro in Wantage for lending us these Lego minifigures for transition week.

Our pupils (including those joining us in September) have enjoyed spotting them around school on a hunt above doors to classrooms old and new.

The children have had such fun! Which ones do you like?
