Last week at the nursery we enjoyed a variety of activities learning about oceans, sea creatures and their habitat. We enjoyed lots of sensory play, making our beautiful clay turtles as well as jiggly jellyfish to take home 🐙🐳🦞

The Children in Hedgehogs this week have been learning about Farm animals. They have watched videos based on working farms and made farm animals using different craft resources.
The children have also been busy exploring our gardens and were excited that our sunflowers had come out and found some unusual bugs 🌻

Last week the children learnt about pets and how to care for different animals. They enjoyed playing vets in the home corner and have enjoyed bandaging the animals and each other!
Thank you so much for the parents and staff who brought in their pets to share with the Children. The children enjoyed asking questions about what the animals eat and where they live and were amazed at seeing some more unusual pets 🐶🐱🐭🐰
