Year 4 had a fantastic day at Gunnersbury Park Museum, stepping back in time for a Victorian school experience! The children loved dressing up, taking part in Victorian lessons, and exploring the museum.

This week 2L have been getting creative and experimenting with watercolour paints. The children created a colourful background for their painting. 2L have also been consolidating their understanding of telling the time to five minute intervals. This has involved lots of practising of counting in 5s to show times such as twenty past and twenty five past. They are becoming much more confident to read these times all on their own!

It’s that time of year again and the children will be bringing bags home today, this is a great opportunity to clear out all your unwanted clothes ready for Summer.
Instead of discarding all those old clothes, this collection offers a recycling solution that benefits the environment, less fortunate people in need, and raises funds for the school all at the same time!
Collection will be on Thursday 18th June 2026.
Please do not bring bags in before Thursday 18th June.

This week in Squirrels class we have started our new topic all about transport. The focus has been all about trains and the children have been excited to share their experiences about trains they have been on. We looked at a map and spoke about all the places we could get to by train, as well as the children having an immersive train ride in the classroom with real tickets and seats. The video took us along the tracks of Scotland and the children enjoyed seeing the world around us from a train point of view! Well done Squirrels.

Nursery enjoyed a visit from Year 1 before the half term, who came to read their wonderful stories to the children. Each child was paired with an older child from Year 1 and they shared the stories that they had been writing throughout the week with them. It was wonderful to see them all so engaged in sharing stories!
