A madrasah with a holistic pedagogy infused with a synthesising of traditional and contemporary idea

We are a madrasah, which specialises in facilitating the cultural, experiential, conscientious, critical and creative growth of children - through to their later teens - by means of a holistic pedagogy infused with a synthesising of traditional and contemporary ideas in order for them to have a well rounded Islamic worldview.

Exploring Muslim Empires through coins, curiosity, and conversation 🪙✨

Today our students journeyed through history—discovering how Muslim empires shaped the world through knowledge, invention, leadership, and culture. From powerful dynasties to remarkable inventions, each coin became a doorway into a forgotten world.

History is not just about the past—it helps us understand who we are, where we come from, and who we may become.

“Who are you, if you do not know where you come from?”

Learning. Reflecting. Belonging.

🌿 The Prophet Project is Back 🌿

Every year, our students take a journey — not just to learn about the life of the Prophet ﷺ, but to connect it to their own lives.

From building homes of Madinah, to writing poems, diaries, nasheeds, and even creating Minecraft worlds — this project is where love for the Prophet ﷺ becomes something lived, expressed, and shared.
🗣️ Each student will present their work in a short 3-minute presentation, bringing their ideas to life in their own unique way.

📅 Presentation Days:
• Saturday 6th June 2026
• Sunday 7th June 2026

We look forward to seeing the creativity, sincerity, and love our students bring this year, in shā’ Allāh. 🤍

Assalamu ʿalaykum dear parents,

Today we were honoured to welcome Shaykh Tufail, founder of the *Rainfall Foundation* , who spoke to all our students about compassion ❤️, service 🤝, and remembering those often forgotten.

The charity supports Muslim prisoners, and this Ramadan 🌙 they are delivering Ramadan Prison Packs 📦 to prisons across England & Wales, providing faith resources 📖 and wellbeing support 🤲.
Even a small donation can bring hope to someone spending Ramadan behind bars.

🤲 *Support the project:*

🦅 Fatima Elizabeth Phrontistery | Lunchtime, Reimagined

This is not “playtime” in the modern sense.
This is inheritance.

At lunchtime, our children wrestle — not for dominance, but for balance, trust, and embodied discipline. Wrestling (ṣirāʿ) was practised openly in the Prophet’s Mosque ﷺ, a space where learning was never disembodied, and spirituality was never detached from the physical self.

In the Prophetic world-view, the body is not an obstacle to consciousness — it is a vehicle for it.
Strength was cultivated alongside mercy.
Physical confidence alongside humility.
Presence alongside restraint.

At the Fatima Elizabeth Phrontistery, this is what we mean by Holistic Prophetic Pedagogy:
🧠 minds that think
❤️ hearts that remember
💪 bodies that are trained with purpose
Lunch becomes a classroom.
Movement becomes memory.
And heritage becomes lived, not merely taught.

This is Prophetic consciousness — carried forward, one generation at a time. 🌿

🇵🇸 Gaza Winter Walk – Walk for Mercy

As the Prophet ﷺ said: “The believers, in their mutual compassion and mercy, are like one body…”
This winter, let’s walk together with sincere hearts and warm intentions for the families of Gaza.

Join Team Fatima Elizabeth as we brave the cold and walk 5 miles to raise vital support and hot meals for those in need. Every step is sadaqah, every pound a means of relief, in shā’ Allāh.

🌿 Unable to attend the walk? You can still take part in this noble cause by creating your own fundraising page and raising funds from wherever you are.

May Allah accept our efforts, multiply the reward, and bring ease to the people of Palestine. Ameen 🤲🏼
