Child exploitation can happen anywhere, to any child. It can take many forms — grooming, criminal exploitation, sexual exploitation, financial exploitation and more.

The signs aren’t always obvious. A change in behaviour, unexplained money or gifts, secrecy, new friendships, fear, withdrawal or suddenly going missing from school could be telling us something.

At First Line Safeguarding, our mission is to educate schools, parents, carers and organisations so that more adults can recognise the signs, ask the right questions and take action.

We cannot protect children from dangers we don’t understand.
