Today we have had our first in-person collective worship in the hall. Some of our children have never had an assembly with the whole school in the hall, and many had forgotten after 3 years! It was lovely to be able to present the children’s certificates in-person, and for them to be given whole school applause.

Diversity Week - ‘Discrimination is not in our DNA’
Next week we are celebrating our uniqueness. Activities will be taking place during the week, and on Friday children can wear their own clothes (non-uniform day) to express themselves and show their personality!

Our prayer day in church yesterday went really well. The classes took part in different activities. Children were really well behaved and got to look around the church too! 😀

We are pleased that the church's Porch Pantry is being used regularly. The information for how to access it is already on a post here. If you would like to donate, they are running short of rice, washing powder, toothpaste, baby wipes, toothbrushes, hand wash, soap. Please, no pasta or pasta sauces, they have plenty at the moment! We are happy to collect in school.

This Friday (14th May) we are taking part in Pyjamarama which is an activity day to promote reading. Children can come to school in their pyjamas; onesies or just not in uniform for a 50p donation. We will be sharing stores and taking part in reading activities in the afternoon. Have a look at the activities and stories on the website page:
