The Treehouse Nursery

The Treehouse Nursery An Ofsted rated Outstanding Nursery based in Waltham Abbey, open Monday-Friday 7.30am-6pm. We are a 44 place day Nursery registered and inspected by Ofsted.

We are open Monday to Friday, 7.30am-6pm, 51 weeks of the year. The Nursery offers full day care for children aged 0-5 years.

We have 3 play rooms in a purpose-built building that we share with Hazelwood Children's Centre. Each play room has access to a large secure outdoor area which offers children the freedom to explore, use their senses and be physically active and exuberant.

On Saturday we said goodbye to the Willows Class of 2026 as they start their journey to school. Graduation is always a special morning and this years was no different! We have had the privilege of knowing most of these children for the last four years and we have no doubts they’ll all flourish on the next part of their journey! Good luck Willows! 🧑‍🎓📚

Today we had a lovely visit from Colette from TastEd. TastEd is a form of sensory food education that delivers the National Food Strategy recommendations. They support giving the children opportunity to experience the joy of fruit and vegetables through the five senses. Two of our team did some training with them at the start of summer and we are excited to start rolling out the workshops in-house from September! 🍋🍊🌶🥕

This morning we had a fun trip to Tesco looking at all the new ‘Back to School’ items. The Willows were able to show us what colour their school uniforms are, what school shoes they liked and everything they might need in their school bag. We then picked out some yummy fruit to eat before getting the bus back to Nursery. Have a lovely weekend everyone! 😄

We had a visit from the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance this morning which the children loved! They learnt all about what the helicopters do, what equipment they use and even got to try it all on! We had such a fun morning visiting the White Water Centre. We saw lots of people kayaking, cleaning their rafts and even some were open water swimming! The Willows loved being first place on the podium, where they learnt all about the London Olympic winners!🥇🛶
