Have fun pond dipping and learn about bug and pond life 🐞, and see the baby newts 😍

Plant a seed to take home to grow your own little plant 🌿

Explore the magical mud kitchen area where we will be making magical potions with our giant potion bowls and spoons 🧙‍♀️

Water experimentation by learning skills to purifiy water but also have fun colouring water using giant teapots and funnels.

Booking is easy just send me your child's unique code for HAF or book directly using the HAF portal 🌟

We have a week of SEND Familiy events with an AM and PM session, the week beginning 10th August 🎉

10th August come and meet Mike the Ranger and his baby Dinasaurs 🦕
11th August -Cosmic Faerie Face Painting, Bubbles & Balloons
12th August -Mo the Animal man. Get up close to a variety of animals and vertebrae 🐍 🦉 🦔
13th August -get magical buy making your own potions using giant spoons and bowls 🥣

These events are for families so please remain with your children.

Due to each event having smaller numbers places go quickly. So please have your unique HAF code ready for when the portal opens on Monday 22nd June. 🎉

Eligible children will be provided with a meal and drink 🌟

We are excited to share that we have funding for 3 weeks Walsall HAF this summer. 🎉

We are offering 2 weeks of Wild Roots holiday club which runs over 4 days. The details are on the attached leaflet 🎉

Please note this is a outdoor activity so wear sensible clothing 🧢 🧥 👟 ☀ ☔

Food is provided 🍔 🥪

Another fantastic HAF week at our outdoor space 🔥

We had a lovely group of young people who bonded and made friendships over the 4 days. 🔥

We have made and cooked on fires, learned about water purification and survival skills such as den building 🔥

Our young people were so excited when pond dipping to discover newts and frogs 🐸

We used natural items for arts and crafts and planted little plants to take home. 🔥

We had a fantastic day on Walsalls Wild Roots HAF activity practicing our bush craft den building survival skills🔥

We built shelters in Walsall woodland areas. Which involved team building skills. Then back to our out door space for lunch. 🔥

The young people all had a go of lighting the fire using flints 🔥

Then they sharpened their foraged sticks to toast giant marshmallows 😋

We cooked hot dogs with beans and then made bread using flour and water, mixing it together to cook on the fire. 🔥

We even managed arts and crafts using natural products.
We were so lucky with the warm weather which made it an amazing day.

We had a fantastic HAF week with The Animal Man from Animal in Hands. Check out all the good work they do with rescuing and homing various animals.

Cosmic Faerie Face Painting, Bubbles & Balloons provided an amazing interactive show with glow in the dark smoke filled bubbles and face painting.

Easter bunny also visited with eggs for all.

We had easter arts and crafts, and games.

Next week we have a four day holiday club with bush craft activities at our outdoor space.

Glow in the Dark Bubbles Walsall HAF! 🧚‍♂️

The amazing Cosmic Faerie Face Painting, Bubbles & Balloons demonstrated an amazing interactive glow in the dark bubble show using UV lighting and glow in the dark bubble solution. 🧚‍♂️
