Our easy christmas tuff tray idea is to help children with fine motor skills, hand and eye coordination, hand strength, focus, and attention.
Do you want to build a snowman?βοΈ
Tomorrow's tuff tray activity is all set up and waiting for the children to arrive and explore what we have to do? We will be helping to expand our mathematical skills by counting and sorting to make our snowman. It is a fun and enthusiastic way to help the children to think critically and problem solve.

βοΈHAVING SNOW MUCH FUNβοΈ
We had such a fun morning yesterday, making the most of the snow we all woke up to. The children especially enjoyed the snowball fight we had, and then we got all warm and cosy when we returned back to the setting. π©π½βπ¦°π₯

Why choose a childminder?.... ππΌββοΈ
As a childminder, I only care for small groups of children (3 under the age of 5), this allows the children more individualised care. Caring for mixed age ranges also means brothers and sisters can be cared for together to, making life easier for the whole family. Caring for children at home rather than a nursery lets us as childminders be more spontaneous. A sunny or unexpectedly snowy day is a great opportunity for outdoor play and learning. We love visiting local parks, shops, and residential areas, so the children get to experience new opportunities.
HALLOWEEN! ππ»π§Ήπ·πΈ
It's one of my favourite times of the year where we approach the spooky season. This week before half term, we will be enjoying our Halloween dressing up picnic party, sensory creature pumpkins, and lots of fun, messy, and creative crafts. Our outdoor tuff tray will also be turning into a witches' Brew tray, where the children can create their own potions and mutter magical spells. β¨οΈ

5π FOOD HYGENIE RATING!
As childminder, we also have to register as a food buisness and get inspected to make sure our standards are where they should be, and we've hit the highest food rating for preparing snacks and meals. Making sure your children are safe, areas are clean and food is prepared, how it should be is so important to us!
