Preschools board is based on their book of the month which is we’re going on a bear hunt! We’ve had so much fun reading this book and have done so many fun activities based on the book! ☺️
🤎 The board has all 6 of the obstacles they face before they see the bear, the board has different textures and materials!
🤎 Bear crafts & muddy footprint artwork as well as pretty flowers done by our preschool children ☺️

We had some fun sensory bags on the tuff tray in nursery which the children really enjoyed exploring, they enjoyed the different textures which where in the bag! ☺️✨

❤️ Red Nose Day at Toddler Town ! ❤️
On Friday 18th of March is Red Nose Day, we will be doing a sponsersed walk for the children! This means the children will be given a sponsorship forms which they will take home and receive donations from friends & family! On the day we will wear red ❤️ all money collected needs to be handed before Friday! If interested please take a sponsorship form it’s on the nursery door!

🌈🐥💜 Toddler town Easter egg raffle ! 💜🐥🌈
We are doing a fun Easter egg raffle at nursery! You can purchase your raffle tickets now, we’re having a fun Easter display which will have Easter eggs & baskets! We will also be doing a guess how many eggs are in the jar 😊
⭐️ £1 for a strip for the Easter raffle
⭐️ 50p for one ticket for the guess how many eggs are in the jar!

🐾🐻🤎 Bear hunt crafts in nursery 🤎🐻🐾
✨ We had tissue paper bears!
✨ Story sequencing, where the children had to tell the story by using the cards!
✨Pencil control we’re going on a beer hunt worksheets 🤩

🌷🦋🍄 Planting & Butterfly catching tray! 🍄🦋🌷 We had some fun tuff trays in nursery, we had a butterfly catching one were the children had nets which they could catch the butterfly’s! & we had a planting tuff tray we’re the children could rake plant and water their own flowers or veggies! 🌸🥕

🚸 ✨🧡 Outdoor walk to go shopping ! 🚸✨🧡
Today we went on our own bear hunt to find some cool stuff for our board!! The children had so much fun exploring and having a look for resources, the children really love being independent and helping out!! we ended our lovely walking & shopping with a nice little treat from Poundland! Keep an eye out for our board 🤩

✨We also had a tuff tray around the book which linked towards the story, the children were all discussing the sounds made in the book and had fun!

Here are some of our children enjoying our new area, the sensory area is the perfect area for one to one time and allow children to explore different objects especially when we have a mini tuff tray in that area!

On Thursday 3rd March 2022 we will be participating in world book day! We are encouraging all children to dress up as their favourite character from a book they love as well as staff too!
⭐️We will be having a bake sale full of all the treats the children have made and all donations will go to charities, where proceeds go towards buying books for children who can’t afford them!
⭐️ We will also be having a costume contest!
⭐️ We’re best costumes will get a prize! We can’t wait to see such creative costumes 😁

In nursery we had such a cool tuff tray which the children loved being creative in, they love being able to make their own version of drinks which they could experiment it was so much fun! 😁

As you know preschools book of the month is The Colour monster, the children have really been loving this book! They understand the idea of the book and can speak about it in a postive way, we had a fun gluing & sticking with tissue paper, identifying what colour links to which feeling and some fun pencil control sheets ☺️

We have a new exciting area at Toddler Town! It’s a new sensory area! A sensory area helps children improve their visual, auditory and tactile processing, as well as fine and gross motor skills, by providing a sense of calm and comfort, they help children learn to self-regulate their behaviors, which ultimately improves focus! ☺️

We have a new sensory box in the nursery and the children absolutely love it! They love exploring the different textures of the toys with touch, sounds and even by mouth too! The sensory box allows the children to comfortably choose what they want to play with as it has a variety of options! It Is also perfect for one to one ☺️

In nursery we had such a cute tuff tray where the children were able to talk about who they love this Valentine’s Day! They were able to decorate there special person and share adorable moments with their friends! It was so cute ❤️

We had such a delicious tuff tray in nursery which the children found so tasty, they loved the heart shaped in the tuff tray and linked it to Valentine’s Day! They all also enjoyed eating it as you can see 😭 xoxo

🌈🖤 The Colour Monster tuff tray ! 🖤🌈
We had a Colour monster themed tuff tray in nursery today which the children loved because it’s our new book of the month! The aim of the activity was to put the coloured spaghetti in the correct jars of the colour monsters feelings, just like in the book! The children did so amazing and it allowed them to talk to each other whilst playing about the book and express their own thoughts & opinions 😆

Preschools book of the month is the colour monster, the book is about emotions and that each colour represents a different emotion! The children really enjoy being able to speak about each feeling and can give examples of things they’ve experienced and link it to the feeling, which is so amazing ! 😆

In nursery we had such a messy touchy feely tuff tray, it was so fun and the children loved exploring the different textures and how it resembled Valentine’s Day! It was so lovely ☺️

At Toddler Town we’re starting the Valentine’s activities early as we had such a messy tuff tray at nursery today! Children made there own love potions, we had slime, bath bombs, orbeez and of course loads of glitter 😆 The children loved exploring the different textures and watching the bath bombs dissolve! The room today also smelt so amazing haha!

We had such a cool tuff tray at nursery to end our January topic of the month! The children loved exploring the mud, sand, water and even the veggies 😆 We’ve had so much fun this month & we can’t wait for next months fun topic!

Preschool had so much fun making cookies and decorating them! We made rainbow cookies and decorated them with candy floss, loads of sprinkles and can’t forget chocolate chips! Everyone’s cookies looked so amazing and delicious, they were so tasty the children ate them as soon as they were decorated 😆

We had so much fun at nursery celebrating Chinese New Year! We had an inspired tuff tray, fun playdough mats and activities based on the year of the tiger! The children really enjoyed exploring and learning about Chinese New Year ❤️

At Toddler town nursery we love our edible tuff trays & so do our children! The different textures of the tuff tray which you can feel and eat is so much fun especially in this tuff tray! Candy floss, cereal and marshmallows! 💕
