Now that the results are in, we want to say a huge well done to everyone who has completed their GCSEs this year.
Whether you've achieved the grades you were hoping for or not, today is an important milestone and you should be proud of the effort, commitment and resilience you've shown to get here.
If your results are everything you wanted, congratulations! We wish you every success in the next stage of your journey.
If things haven't gone quite the way you hoped, please remember that one set of results does not define you or determine your future. There are many different pathways to success, and for some people, the best opportunities come from exploring routes they may not have originally considered.
While college and sixth form are popular next steps, they're not the only options available. Apprenticeships provide the opportunity to gain recognised qualifications, develop valuable skills, earn a wage and build real workplace experience from day one.
