Today has been the best Christmas lunch, play in the snow and hot chocolate with cookies…. 🧑🏻‍🎄🧑🏻‍🎄🧑🏻‍🎄

We had a special visitor today, it was such a lovely morning… it’s Christmas 🧑🏻‍🎄🧑🏻‍🎄🧑🏻‍🎄

1st December only means one thing, Christmas breakfast 🍳 and decorating stockings for our chimney… 🧑🏻‍🎄🧑🏻‍🎄🧑🏻‍🎄

What a lovely week we had doing our santa letters and going for a walk to post them… festive time 🧑🏻‍🎄🧑🏻‍🎄🧑🏻‍🎄

This week we have started to look at Christmas lights, so we went for a visit to the holly bush. We saw many different coloured lights and we even had a go on the park 💡💡

Works Christmas do, thank you ladies for such a good year!! We will raise a glass or two tonight ❤️

Remembrance: today we went to pay our respects… ❤️

Today we went to the woods to find leaves and match them to the correct colour on the chart. Once we finished we counted them all and we found orange won… learning outdoors is fun… 🍂🍁🍃

Today we celebrated bonfire night. We made our own fire, toasted marshmallows followed with a hot chocolate while singing songs around the fire and having a story “ we are going on a leaf hunt”. Followed by a bonfire lunch of jacket potato or hot dogs…. Keep safe this weekend Kiddywinks 🔥 🔥🔥

We went on an Halloween adventure today, we were lucky to find a den in the woods. We settled down to a story of the month room on the broom… we then made our very own large witches broom. .

We had such a fab Halloween party for the little ones today… 🎃👻🕷

Due to a horrible sickness bug in setting we still manage to have fun on our spooky craft week…

What a windy 🌬 day it has been for baking Wednesday so we made some pumpkin soup. At snack time we sat down to try it with some nice warm bread, yum yum 😋

What a lovely day to go pumpkin picking. We had so much fun and the children loved picking a pumpkin for us to use in setting 🕷🕷

Baking Wednesday where the children do everything from cracking eggs to measuring the flour and we just supervisor. Great ways to bring on independence…. Here are our halloween spider cakes.. our favourite day 😀😀😀

This week down the woods we made autumn wreaths, with all different types of leaves. Autumn is the best time of the year 🌳🌳

Today we had a very special visitor in setting…. The animal man, the children had a fab experience meeting and holding all the animals. They were all so brave ❤️❤️ so much learning was done…. 🦔🕷🐾

Today was about using our fingers, leaf threading! The children loved their work of art… outdoors is the best way of learning! 📚🌳🌳

Reminder

The weather is turning. Please ensure all the children bring a coat every day.
And wear sensible shoes.
The weather can just suddenly change as we all know and i like to be prepared to keep all the children warm and dry. We do go out every day come rain snow wind or sunshine :)

Today we celebrated the Queen’s life, we wore colourful clothing as the Queen did and had a lovely afternoon tea. Watched Paddington bear and made marmalade sandwich’s… 😍😍

For forest school today we went to the woods to collect blackberries, after being washed we sat down to make blackberry playdough! It was so much fun and the children enjoyed making, noticing the texture change and smelling what they had found…. Outdoor adventures are the best 🫐🍇🌳🌿

Kerry’s kiddywinks will be closed on Monday 19th September.

Today we were lucky to have a digger and truck on the car park. So we went to have a look what was going on and we all loved the digger xx

Today was our end of term and leavers party! To say I am emotional is an understatement, we have made so many happy memories and I wish my leavers all the best for there next adventure!!! Thank you for all our lovely gifts and cards ❤️❤️❤️

This week we had a lovely visit to essington fruit farm, so the Kiddywinks could pick their favourite fruit. Once we will filled our baskets we took them back for snack…. Yum yum! 🍓🍓🍓

A fab staff meeting tonight, quiz and a team building activity! Xx

Today we had a great adventure, we went off to the woods where we made our den, camp fire and sat down to have our lunch… being outdoors is the best 🌳🌳🌳🪵
