This morning we kicked off our first Father’s Day session with Chloe from Blissful Beginnings! 💙 Blissful Beginnings
Our babies had a wonderful morning spending quality time with their daddies. There was plenty of fun, from having a kick-about with the football to enjoying baby music and movement activities. We finished the session with everyone’s favourite – the parachute! 🌈

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join our growing nursery family.

Whether you’re looking for a full-time or part-time position, we’d love to hear from passionate childcare professionals who enjoy making a difference in children’s lives every day.

⭐ What we’re looking for:

•A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
•A current DBS on the Update Service (preferred)
•A positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting young children
•Someone who enjoys being part of a friendly and supportive team

Every day is different at Blossoms on the Lane. We’re looking for practitioners who can create engaging learning opportunities, support children’s development, and build strong relationships with families.

You’ll be involved in:
•Planning and providing exciting activities
•Supporting children’s learning through play
•Observing, assessing and recording development
•Acting as a key person
•Maintaining a safe, nurturing environment
•Working closely with colleagues and parents

Fish and Chip Friday 🐟🍟

Today our Explorers and Inventors children enjoyed a wonderful morning at nursery, made even more special by welcoming a loved one to join us for lunch! We all sat together and enjoyed some delicious fish and chips 🍽️

The children loved showing their families around the nursery, exploring the garden together, and sharing all the fun and learning experiences from their day. It was lovely to see the excitement and pride on their faces as they spent quality time with their loved ones in their nursery environment 💜

Building strong parent and family partnerships is such an important part of Blossoms on the Lane. Working closely together helps children feel supported, secure, and confident, creating a strong connection between home and nursery that helps them thrive.

Yesterday, a selection of our Creators and Inventors children enjoyed a wonderful trip to Aldridge Transport Museum! 🚌✨

We had a fantastic time exploring all the different types of transport on display. The children were full of excitement and curiosity throughout the visit!

A big thank you to our chef Anna for preparing a yummy packed lunch for us to enjoy while we were there. 🍎🥪

To finish off our adventure, we enjoyed a bus ride back to nursery with Brian and Allen from the Transport Museum, who made the journey extra special for the children.

All of the children were so well behaved and used their manners beautifully throughout the trip, we are so proud of them all! 🌟😊

☀️ Water Play Fun at Blossoms on the Lane 💦

Our children at Blossoms on the Lane had such a wonderful day yesterday enjoying the sunshine in the garden! ☀️💦

The children loved splashing in the water, chasing bubbles, exploring the sand, and spending time playing together outdoors. There were so many smiles, giggles, and happy memories made throughout the day 😊🫧

To finish off the fun, everyone enjoyed a yummy ice lolly to help cool down! 🍦💛

Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

This week we have celebrated our staff and recognised the incredible dedication, compassion, and support they show every single day.

A time to reflect on the importance of looking after our mental well-being, supporting one another, and recognising the pressures that can come with caring for others every day.

To our amazing team, thank you for your continued kindness, patience, compassion, and dedication. The support you give to children and families each day makes such a meaningful difference.

This week is also a reminder that your well-being matters too. Take time to rest, check in with each other, and be proud of the incredible work you do 💚

We’ve had such a lovely afternoon with a very special visit from Aldridge Fire Station 🚒

Last week, the children had lots of fun celebrating International Firefighters’ Day and learning all about fire safety. Today, they were so excited to meet real firefighters, spray the hose, explore the fire engine, and even pretend to drive the big truck.

The children loved asking questions and learning more about how firefighters help keep us safe. Thank you to the team at Aldridge Fire Station for such a memorable experience for our little ones ❤️
