The children from our SRP had a wonderful time at Lower Drayton Farm, yesterday.

They saw the animals, went on a tractor ride, picked their very own vegetables and enjoyed the soft play 🥰

The children were all beautifully behaved and showed a lovely curiosity about animals and farm life.

We would like to thank Gabby and her team for organising this for our children. A big thank you to the parent helpers that accompanied the children, too!

Friday Focus!

Lighthouse MAT has been focusing on the importance of Friday attendance — and what a fantastic result!

95.5% of pupils attended across LHMAT Academies today!

That means more children in school, learning, connecting with friends and finishing the week strong.

A huge well done to our pupils, families and staff for helping us achieve this fantastic result. ❤️

We have held our first Celebration Assembly this week. To start the assembly off, we proudly announced our Head and Deputy Boys and Girls.

Yesterday, the Y6 candidates all spoke in front of the whole school to explain their reasons for why they would make the perfect role models for our children. Once again, we were incredibly proud of the standard this year and it was clear to see that a lot of preparation had gone into this.

After counting all the votes, we can proudly announce that this year our Head Boy is AJ, our Deputy Head Boy is Leelan, Our Head girl is Serenity and our Deputy Head Girl is Harper.

We know that they are going to do a wonderful job.

Dear families,

We have had a wonderful first week back and it has been so lovely to see all the children again. They all look incredibly smart and proud as they begin their new school year. There have been lots of smiles throughout the week, which once again demonstrates the incredible job our staff team has done in ensuring that every child feels settled, confident and happy in their new year groups and classrooms. We will share a photo of Reception once all children are in school.

Dear families,

We are appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard anything about the theft of play equipment from our school over the holiday period. The equipment was all in boxes, ready to be installed for the first day back. This equipment was specially provided for our nursery children, helping them to learn, play and develop through outdoor activities. The loss has left our staff, families and children deeply upset, as these resources were an important part of the children's daily experiences.

We would be extremely grateful for any information, no matter how small it may seem, that could help identify those responsible or lead to the recovery of the equipment. Please contact the school if you can assist. Every piece of information could make a difference.

I have provided an image of the equipment that was stolen.
