It was our final day of the academic year for our daytime pupils yesterday so it is a great time for an update.
We are incredibly proud of all our daytime pupils, they work so hard everyday and make amazing progress in their lessons. But the most amazing part of it all is seeing them grow in confidence, become more independent and seeing them everyday learning, smiling and laughing together.
Our daytime provision is truly unique, driven by passionate staff who just want to make that difference to a pupils education and give them that opportunity to achieve amazing results. We keep teacher to pupil ratios small to ensure we get that personal approach right and every year we see success after success.
When a pupil joins us, we know it is a massive step for them to put their trust in what we do. So many have been let down by schools, had their confidence destroyed and don't believe they can enjoy learning. If we get the start wrong, it's all over...BUT we have an amazing record of getting things RIGHT.
Just some of our highlights of the year:
* We have prepared 8 students for GCSE exams this year and more impressive is that 5 of those pupils are only in year 10. It's been hard work but with lots of fun and laughter along the way. We can't wait to hear their results.
* We recently worked with a pupil who had found it difficult at school, really disliked learning because she had never felt success. School arranged for her to have a two hour lesson to see if she would enjoy it. Everyone was so nervous about the lesson but after the two hour lesson when asked for their feedback she said "It was OK and wants to come back again".
* As well as education, we do try to give our pupils unique experiences. Our food bank tombola that sees us get a visit from Walsall FC, our photography photoshoots that allow pupils to have fun with their peers, little treats like ukulele lessons and endless laughter.
* Some of our pupils have additional needs, sometimes they can be complex but it doesn't alter our approach of ensuring they enjoy their lessons and thrive educationally. We ensure the needs are met, that time and care is taken into planning on how to ensure we can achieve success together. Every pupil has a voice at Aldridge Premier Tuition and we ensure we listen that voice.
* Yesterday saw two pupils leave , they will be attending colleges next year. They will both do amazing at college, will both thrive and achieve amazing things. We are proud that both have the confidence to try something new and look forward to hearing their progress.
* Our biggest highlight of the year really is feeding back to parents, we speak to our parents daily when they pick the children up. Our feedback includes what has been achieved in lesson, what the next steps are and any tips that can help improve progress. It's a great thing to witness parents smiling when their son or daughter comes out from learning with us and they are smiling. The child, the parent and the educator all smiling at the same time about the same thing - the fact it has been a pleasure to learn in a safe environment that allows pupils to achieve.
We can't wait for academic year 2026/27 and the start of our fifth year of daytime provision.
We do have a dedicated daytime education page which you are welcome to join.

Today is international 6/7 appreciation day so Aldridge Premier Tuition just had say ..... 6/7
The 6th July is the 6th day of the 7th month and for those who have tuition tonight we will be giving out our 6/7 stickers.
It was a great start to the day with England winning the football, we have a busy few hours with our daytime pupils.... I'm sure we can find something 6/7 related and then a busy evening of tuition.
Have a go at our Algebra quiz in photo 2..... I bet you can't guess what all the answers are 😂
