📖Story Week in Oaks 📖

Last week in our Oaks room, we had lots of fun celebrating Story Week! The children enjoyed choosing their favourite books and taking part in a variety of creative activities.

🌊🐚 Ocean Week in Sycamores 🐠🪸

What a fantastic week we've had in the Sycamores Room celebrating Ocean Week!

The children have enjoyed exploring a variety of ocean-themed activities throughout the week, with our playdough station proving to be a particular favourite. We extended the activity each day to build on the children's interests and learning.

We added seashells for the children to make patterns and prints with, and they loved trying to listen to the sea through them! We also introduced lots of loose parts to create our very own coral reefs, encouraging creativity, imagination, and discussion about life under the sea.
It's been wonderful to see the children's curiosity, engagement, and enthusiasm as they've explored the amazing world of our oceans. What a fun-filled week we've had! 💙🌊

The saying no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing was certainly true today! Foundation had a great day outside in the front garden!

Fresh air and outdoor play are a big part of childhood. With almost half an acre of outdoor play space, children have room to move, discover, imagine and build confidence through active learning. Your child can enjoy big adventures while developing important physical and social skills. 🌿
